Welcome to the Home Page for the St. Vincent and San Vicente diaconate formation group. We began our formation in September 1999 as part of a four-year program to become Permanent Deacons in the Roman Catholic Church. There are 11 couples in the English track (St. Vincent Group) and another 10 couples in a parallel Spanish Track (Grupo San Vicente ). We were ordained June 7, 2003 in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our brother deacon, Frank Donovan on July 7,2003. He will be deeply missed by all of his classmates. Our prayers continue for the repose of Frank's soul, Marge ( his wife), and his family.
